Illinois Sign Association 2011 Awards

Bendsen Signs placed first, second and third during the annual Illinois Sign Associated Awards ceremony. First place was received for StarFire Industries signage in the Exterior Non-illuminated letters/graphics category. Second place was for the sign at Shelby Memorial Hospital in the Illuminated Sign category. The third place plaque was in a new category named Renovated & Rehabilitated signs. Prairie State Bank in Mt. Zion took this award with their new sign.

Bendsen Signs Receives ISA “Best of the Best” Sign Design Award

Bendsen Signs & Graphics, Inc. received the “Best of the Best” Sign Design Award at the Illinois Sign Association’s Fall Conference, September 22-23, 2010.

Bendsen Signs & Graphics received one 1st place award, in the Digital Graphics category, for its work on a banner created for the Springfield Clinic in Springfield, Ill. The ISA membership in attendance then voted among all the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winning signs and chose the Bendsen Signs & Graphics entry as “Best of the Best.”

The association has been holding the Sign Design Contest for the past 26 years to showcase creativity in design, medium and execution in eight different category types. The Sign Design Awards were presented during a banquet dinner September 22, 2010 as part of the ISA Fall Conference.

Ginger Fisher will be overseeing the sales and marketing responsibilities for the Champaign/Urbana area. Ginger comes from a marketing background in the communications field. The International Sign Association (ISA), the sign industry’s leading trade association, is pleased to announce six new members will join its 28-member board of directors to lead the organization in 2010, one being Tom Pistorius from Bendsen Signs & Graphics, Inc.
